Safelite® offers each of its employees a paid day off work to volunteer a full 8-hour day at a charity of their choice. In addition, Safelite® offers Community Days – a coordinated effort by a team, store or market to spend an additional 8 hours to volunteer together for a local charity.

This equals approximately 176,000 hours of community service.

Giving Campaign

An annual program each fall, Safelite’s National Giving Campaign is a month-long drive for all employees from all areas of the business to raise funds for the charities of their choosing.

Employees may get involved by donating funds to charities nationwide and participating in special fundraising events coordinated by each market/department. In addition, each of Safelite’s markets select a local charity to support with financial contributions.

Safelite® Challenge

In 2010, the Safelite AutoGlass® Foundation hosted the first-ever charity triathlon, duathlon, and poker run known as the Safelite® Challenge to raise funds for Afrika Tikkun, our parent company Belron’s global charity. Afrika Tikkun aims to help transform communities by caring for vulnerable children and orphans, as well as providing job training for young adults.

The annual Safelite® Challenge event is open to all Safelite® employees and takes place in Las Vegas in conjunction with the Rage Triathlon. The event also includes a 5K fun walk, weight loss contest, and silent auction to raise money for charity.

Safelite AutoGlass® Charity Classic

Since 2011, the Safelite AutoGlass® Foundation has been hosting its annual Charity Golf Classic. The Foundation welcomes approximately 180 representatives from its suppliers and business partners from across the country. Their sponsorship has helped the Foundation donate more than $300,000 to the many charitable organizations the Foundation supports nationwide, as well as funding the Impact Grants for non-profits making a difference in the Central Ohio community.

Impact Grants

Since 2011, the Safelite AutoGlass®  Foundation has been awarding Impact Grants to area non-profits. Funding for the Impact Grants in the Columbus, Ohio community is provided by the Foundation’s annual Charity Golf Classic. Applications are reviewed by Foundation committee members and selected by the breadth and depth of impact the grant would have on the local community.
