Governor Susana Martinez Announces the Grand Opening of Safelite Group’s New Rio Rancho Contact Center

Today Governor Susana Martinez joined local officials and Safelite Group® executives to celebrate the grand opening of Safelite Solution’s new Rio Rancho contact center. Since June, Safelite Solution’s has created 517 full-time and 288 part-time jobs. Originally projected to create 400 full-time jobs by the end of 2018, Safelite is roughly two years ahead of their hiring schedule and will hire more than 1,000 employees in Rio Rancho by the end of the year.

Safelite Solutions Appoints New Commercial National Account Manager

Safelite Solutions®, a leading vehicle glass repair and replacement provider for fleets across the country, has named Jeff Dunlap its newest Commercial National Account Manager. In this role he is responsible for relationships with roughly half of Safelite’s commercial fleet clients. Dennis Riffle, a 28-year Safelite employee, continues to also serve in his role as Commercial National Account Manager.

Safelite Solutions Sister Company Introduces Recalibration Tools for ADAS Windshields

Experts at Safelite AutoGlass® (Safelite Solutions sister company) are ready to solve the latest complication in windshield replacement: Advanced Driver Assistance Systems recalibration. More commonly known as ADAS, these features automate car safety by alerting the driver to potential problems and helping them to avoid collisions. ADAS is dependent on cameras often mounted to windshields. Working closely with Bosch, the world’s largest automotive supplier according to Automotive News, Safelite is introducing recalibration tools this fall with the goal of having them available in at least one location in each market by the end of the year.

Safelite Solutions Hires Mike Naoom as AVP of Claims Experience to Expand Insurance-related Service Offerings

Safelite® Solutions strives to be the preferred partner of insurance companies to support and grow their business and has hired an experienced claims leader in a newly created role. Mike Naoom joined Safelite Solutions as AVP, Claims Experience, to further Safelite’s expertise in contact centers and policyholder service by utilizing his vast knowledge of the insurance industry and opportunities to improve the current claims process.

Safelite Group Appoints New Senior Vice President of Safelite Solutions

Dino Lanno has been named the new senior vice president of Safelite® Solutions, a multi-faceted claims management service organization providing solutions for the nation’s leading fleet and insurance companies. In this role, he is responsible for strategic and national account sales and client relationships, national contact center operations and strategic direction of claims management services.

Safelite Volunteers Help Red Cross Deliver 800 Disaster Preparedness Kits to Central Ohio Homes

Safelite Group partnered with the American Red Cross Ohio Buckeye Region to distribute 800 personal disaster preparedness kits in the neighborhood surrounding the local chapter on April 30, 2015. Kits included a bottle of water, a granola bar, a poncho, a light stick, and a medical mask, among others. Information and tips on preventing emergencies was also provided including how to identify a gas leak, recommendations on what to do in case of severe weather, and suggestions from the Red Cross on creating family plans in emergencies.

Safelite Donates $5,000 to Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s “Get Fresh” Campaign during the Ohio State Football Spring Game

Safelite Group® has teamed up with a group of local corporations to support Mid-Ohio Foodbank’s “Get Fresh” campaign to prevent unsold fresh produce on farms from going to waste by getting it on the table of those struggling with hunger. During the Ohio State Buckeyes’ spring game on Saturday, April 18, 2015, Safelite, a proud sponsor of Ohio State Athletics, made a financial donation to Mid-Ohio Foodbank for each score for a total of $5,000.

Safelite Solutions Contact Centers Win International Exceptional Customer Service Award

Safelite Solutions recently received an International Exceptional Customer Service Award from parent company Belron. The National Contact Centers continued to deliver extraordinary service throughout the Polar Vortex last year, which spiked call volume over 300 percent! Despite this increase, the number of abandoned calls dropped – showcasing the team’s ability to outperform expectations.
